Pearly Porcupine Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 -2 lb ground beef
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 cup milk
    2/3 cup pearl barley
    1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
    1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
    2 cups water
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon butter
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 tablespoon instant minced onion
Preparation
    combine: meat, egg, milk, barley, chili powder, and salt in a bowl. mix and form into 2\" meatballs. melt butter and oil in fry pan. brown meatballs on all sides.
    combine: tomatoes, water, teriyaki sauce, and onion in a large sauce pan. bring to a boil. drop meatballs into sauce pan. cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
