Reese'S White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    2 cups sugar
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 1/3 cups buttermilk or 1 1/3 cups sour milk
    1/2 cup shortening, margarine or 1/2 cup butter
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    4 egg whites
    10 ounces reese's chips
Preparation
    In a bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and 1/8 tsp salt. Add buttermilk, shortening, and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl occasionally.
    Add egg whites and beat for 2 minutes more, scraping bowl.
    Pour in 10oz bag Reese's chips - stir with spoon. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9x 1 1/2 inch round baking pans.
    Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool on wire racks for 10 minutes. Loosen sides and remove from pans. Cool thoroughly on wire racks.
