Peanut Crunch Ice Cream Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter
    2 cups packed brown sugar
    1/3 cup half-and-half cream
    3/4 cup peanut butter
    1/3 cup chopped peanuts
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
    Melt butter in a medium saucepot.
    Stir in the brown sugar and half and half and peanut butter.
    Stir over low heat until smooth and beginning to come to a boil.
    Stir in the peanuts and vanilla.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups topping.
