Emeril Lagasse'S Cajun Chocolate Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups water
    1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
    1 cup cocoa powder
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer while whisking constantly. Remove from heat and chill before serving.
