Crema De Vie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups sugar
    1 cup water
    6 egg yolks
    1 can condensed milk, 12oz
    1 can evaporated milk, 12oz
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 -2 cup rum (to taste)
Preparation
    Make a syrup by mixing the sugar and water in a saucepan and simmer for 3 minutes. Let it cool to room temperture.
    In a large bowl, beat the yolks until light yellow. Add the milks (condensed and evaporated), the vanilla, and the rum. Stir in the sugar syrup.
