Christmas Scent - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cinnamon sticks, 4-inch
    3 large bay leaves
    1/4 cup whole cloves
    1/2 lemon, cut in half
    1/2 orange, cut in half
    1 quart water
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer as long as desired.
    Check water level often & add more water as needed.
    Can store in refrigerator & re-used.
    Add more spice & fruit if needed, along with water.
