Classic Chocolate Fondue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Fondue
    1 cup whipping cream
    2 2/3 cups finely chopped semisweet chocolate
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    2 tablespoons liqueur (dark rum, Amaretto, Frangelico, Grand Marnier or Dark Rum)
    To Dip
    2 chopped pears
    2 cups bananas
    2 pints strawberries
    400 g angel food cake
Preparation
    Prep fruit and cake.
    In a sauce pan, slowly heat whipping cream until bubbles form around the edges.
    Remove pan from heat; whisk in chopped chocolate until mixture is smooth.
    Stir in vanilla and, if desired, add liqueur.
    Transfer mixture to a fondue pot and keep warm over low heat.
