Pepper-Pecan Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup pecans, chopped
    1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
    1 teaspoon chives
    2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    10 ounces red pepper jelly
Preparation
    Combine first four ingredients. Mix well. Press into a pie plate.
    Spread jelly over the top.
    Serve with wheat thins or other crackers.
