Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dates, chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups Rice Krispies
2 cups coconut, shredded
Preparation

Place first 6 ingredients into a heavy saucepan.
Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat, add vanilla; let mixture cool.
Add Rice Krispies and mix thoroughly.
Form into 1\" balls and roll into coconut.
