Bavarian Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head red cabbage, washed and coarsely sliced
6 tart apples, cored & quartered
2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons sugar
2 cups hot water
6 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup cider vinegar
Preparation

Place all the ingredients into the crock pot.
Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or high 3 hours.
Stir well before serving.
