Italian Spaghetti Soup With Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup dry lentils
    1 large onion, minced
    2 carrots, diced
    2 celery ribs, sliced
    6 large garlic cloves, minced
    2 cups tomato puree, canned chopped
    4 ounces spaghetti, broken into 2 inch lengths
    2 cups spinach, sliced
    1/4 cup olive oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place everything except for spaghetti and spinach in a large kettle with 2 quarts of water; bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Add seasonings, spaghetti and spinach.
    Simmer 10-12 minutes until spaghetti in tender.
    Drain.
    Add a small drizzle of olive oil to each bowl when serving.
