Homemade Sweet-And-Sour Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup water
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
    1/2 cup fresh lime juice
Preparation
    Combine water and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar dissolves; cool syrup.
    Mix syrup with lemon and lime juices; chill until cold; keep covered in refrigerator for up to one week.
    Note: This mixture is great for most cocktails, but for margaritas you may want to reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup.
