Warm Spiced Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon butter
    3 tablespoons Splenda brown sugar blend
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 tablespoon water or 1 tablespoon peach juice
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    6 peaches, peeled and sliced
    1/4 cup almonds, toasted
Preparation
    Melt butter in non-stick frying pan, over low heat.
    Add brown sugar splenda, lemon juice, water and peach juice (I squeezed the juice from the skins and little bits I was discarding, right into the frying pan).
    Add cinnamon and nutmeg and bring to a low simmer.
    Add vanilla extract.
    Gently stir in the sliced peaches and warm them through.
    Serve with vanilla ice cream and top with toasted almonds.
