Ida'S Hot Chicken Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
    1 medium onion
    1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, and liquid
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    12 slices thin sliced white bread or 12 slices whole wheat bread
    Sauce
    1 (8 ounce) can light sour cream
    1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (reduced fat or sodium can be used)
Preparation
    Cut crusts from 12 slices of bread. Butter one side of each piece of bread.
    Place 6 slices of the bread, buttered side down on a cookie sheet.
    Mix first 4 ingredients and spread evenly on the 6 slices.
    Top each slice with the remain slices of bread.
    Combine sour cream with soup mix. \"ice\" the 6 sandwiches on top and down the sides with the mixture.
    Refrigerate over night, or at least 5 hours in the refrigerator.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake at 325, for 35 minutes.
