Miso Pork Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lbs pork butt
    1 piece gingerroot, mashed
    2 garlic cloves, mashed
    3/4 cup miso
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    3/4 cup shoyu
Preparation
    Mix miso, sugar and shoyu thoroughly in a large pot.
    Add ginger and garlic; mix well.
    Place pork butt in pot and simmer for 2-1/2 to 3 hours until done and well soaked.
    Slice and serve hot!
