Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups nuts
    1 lb dates, chopped
    1 cup candied cherry
    1 cup flour
    1 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    3 teaspoons baking powder
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    Mix nuts, dates and cherries in a large bowl.
    Combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
    Sprinkle flour mixture over fruit; mix well.
    Add beaten eggs and vanilla.
    Mix throughly.
    Bake in tube pan at 275 degrees fahrenheit for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
