Indian Lentil Sandwich Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup cooked lentils
    4 garlic cloves, pressed
    2 teaspoons ground coriander
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
    1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Preparation
    Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan.
    Cook gently over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, to allow the flavors to blend.
    Chill for 1 hour.
