Fannie Farmer'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb butter
    1 3/4 cups sugar
    5 eggs
    1 3/4 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Cream butter and sugar with electric mixer.
    Beat eggs into mix.
    Stir in flour, salt, vanilla. Beat vigorously.
    Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 70-80 minutes.
