Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation

Whisk dry ingredients together.
Set aside.
Mix wet ingredients.
Add wet to dry.
Mix well with whisk.
You may need more milk for thinner cakes.
