Little Cherry Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    1 3/4 cups self rising flour
    3/4 cup maraschino cherry, finely chopped
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla.
    Add cherries.
    Add nuts.
    Add flour.
    Drop by small teaspoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 9 minutes.
