Apple Butter Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cups flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    3/4 teaspoon ground cloves
    3/4 cup butter, melted
    1 1/4 cups sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1 1/2 cups apple butter (Musselman's)
    1/4 cup evaporated milk (Pet )
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    4 cups powdered sugar
    1/2 cup butter, softened
Preparation
    CAKE:
    Save the last 4 ingredients for the frosting.
    Stir together flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg. cloves,and cinnamon.
    Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Combine buttermilk and applesauce.
    Add alternately with the flour mixture, mixing well after each addition.
    Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch round cake pans.
    Bake at 350* for 35-40 minute
    Remove from pans.
    Cool thoroghly on cake racks.
    Frost cooled cake with Creamy Vanilla Frosting.

    FROSTING:
    In a small bowl, Combine butter, milk, vanilla and sugar.(Last 4 ingredients of list).
    Mix until frosting is smooth and shiny.
    If Consistency is too thick.
    Add a few drops of milk.
    Frost cooled Applesauce Layer Cake.
