Peach Gelato - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups whole milk
    2 cups peaches
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup egg substitute
Preparation
    Heat milk and add eggs.
    Cook until thickened--about 6 to 8 minutes.
    Add pureed peaches, lemon juice, and 1/4 c sugar.
    Add peach mixture to milk base.
    Refrigerate at least two hours.
    Freeze in an ice cream maker per instructions.
