Cinnamon Rum Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup water
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 tablespoon dark rum
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil over high heat and boil until sugar is dissolved.
    Remove from heat; stir in rum and lemon.
    Pour syrup into a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator.
