Apple Pie Breakfast Quinoa - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup uncooked quinoa
2 cups almond milk
2 apples, cored and diced
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon clove
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
pecans, for topping to taste
maple syrup, for topping to taste
Preparation

Add everything except for pecans and maple syrup to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
When the apples are soft, and quinoa has absorbed the water, fluff the quinoa with a fork.
Pour into bowls and top with maple syrup and pecans.
