Creamy Mashed Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
    4 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese, room temp (half of the 8 oz block)
    1/2 cup fat free sour cream
    1 tablespoon butter
    3 tablespoons minced chives
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    1 -2 tablespoon slivered almonds, for garnish
Preparation
    Cook the sweet potato chunks in boiling water until tender and mashable; drain and return to the hot pot.
    Start mashing cooked sweets potatoes with a masher. Mash in the rf cream cheese, ff sour cream, butter, chives, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mash until all is smooth and cream cheese has melted.
    Spoon into large serving dish and sprinkle with the slivered almonds.
