Lemon Nut Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1st LAYER
2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
2nd LAYER
3 eggs
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup coconut
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Preparation
-
1st layer:
Mix flour, butter and brown sugar.
Press into a 13x9x2 pan.
Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2nd layer:
Mix eggs, brown sugar, salt, walnuts, coconut, lemon juice and lemon zest.
Pour over 1st layer.
Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do not cut into bars until cool.
