Cinnamon Basmati Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups water (or chicken stock)
    1 cup basmati rice
    1 whole cinnamon stick (or cassia)
    4 whole cloves
    1/2 teaspoon cumin
    1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil in saucepan. Slowly add rice then cinnamon, cloves and cumin.
    Cover and reduce to simmer. Cook until rice is tender and water is absorbed, about 10- 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Fluff with a fork and serve.
