Pasta E Fagioli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups rinsed cancelling beans
    2 cups canned unsalted whole tomates with juice
    1 cup sliced celery
    1 teaspoon minced garlic
    2 cups canned low sodium chicken broth
    1 cup water
    1/4 cup acini di pepe pasta or 1/4 cup other small shell pasta
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
    salt and pepper
    4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Place beans, tomatoes with juices, celery and garlic in a large saucepan.
    Add chicken broth and 1 cup water.
    Bring to a boil, breaking up tomatoes with the edge of a spoon.
    Cover, lower the heat to medium and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add oil and pasta.
    Boil, uncovered, about 8 minutes or until pasta is tender.
    Add basil and salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve and bowls and pass the Parmesan to sprinkle on.
