The Most Famous Arabian Beverage - Qahwa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 almonds
    1 teaspoon tea leaves
    4 -5 cardamoms
    5 cm cinnamon sticks
    3 -5 saffron strands
    2 teaspoons sugar
Preparation
    Blanch and peel the almonds.
    Then, slice each almond finely and keep aside.
    Bring 4 cups of water to a boil with the tea leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, saffron and sugar.
    Allow it to simmer for 15 minutes in order to let the various flavours blend together.
    Strain the 'Qahwa' into 4 cups.
    Garnish with finely sliced (and peeled, of course) almonds.
    Serve hot.
