Graham Cracker Fluff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large egg yolks
    1/2 cup sugar
    2/3 cup milk
    1 ounce unflavored gelatin
    1/2 cup cold water
    2 large egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup heavy cream
    3 tablespoons butter, melted
    3 tablespoons sugar
    12 graham crackers, crushed
Preparation
    beat egg yolks, and add sugar --
    add milk and cook in top of double boiler till slightly thickened --
    soak unflavored gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes --
    pour hot mixture over softened gelatin --
    stir till smooth --
    chill until slightly thickened.add beaten egg whites, vanilla and heavy cream to chilled mixture --
    combine melted butter, sugar and cracker crumbs to make crumb crust --
    sprinkle half the crumbs into bottom of serving dish --
    spread chilled mixture over crumbs.
    sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.
    chill in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.
