Shaker Oatmeal Pie - cooking recipe

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup clear Karo syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons butter, softened
3/4 cup oats
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 (9 inch) pie shells
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together sugar, syrup, and butter. Fold in eggs and vanilla. Stir in oats.
Pour into the pie shell and bake for 30 minutes.
