Zucchini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 -10 cups grated zucchini
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 cups chicken broth
    2 medium yellow onions, chopped
    1 teaspoon basil
    2 -3 cups half-and-half
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Put all in a pot,except for half and half, and let simmer 40 minutes.
    Let cool, then blend in blender until smooth.
    Add half and half, heat and serve.
