Anti-Inflammatory Hot Turmeric Milk - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup milk
    3/4 cup water
    1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
    1 teaspoon honey, or more to taste
    1 teaspoon ghee (clarified butter) (optional)
    1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation
    Combine milk, water, ginger, honey, ghee, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper in a small saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until boiling, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove pot from heat. Strain out fresh ginger and serve immediately.
