30-Minute White Bean Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 pound ground turkey breast
    1 onion, diced
    1 green bell pepper, diced
    1 teaspoon minced garlic
    1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
    2 stalks celery, diced
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon crushed bay leaf
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil
    1 cup water, or more to taste
    1 (15 ounce) can navy beans, drained
    1 (15 ounce) can lima beans, drained
    salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add turkey, onion, green bell pepper, and garlic; cook and stir until turkey is browned and onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
    Stir tomatoes, celery, cumin, chili powder, bay leaf, and basil into the pot. Pour in water; cover and simmer until celery is tender and chili has reached desired thickness, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in navy beans and lima beans; cook until heated through, 5 to 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
