Nicole'S Christmas Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 cups water
    1 cup white sugar
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 (64 fluid ounce) bottle pineapple juice, chilled
    5 1/3 cups cranberry-apple juice, chilled
    1 1/3 liters ginger ale, chilled
Preparation
    Combine water, sugar, and cinnamon together in a saucepan; bring to a boil until sugar is dissolved, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove cinnamon syrup from heat and chill.
    Mix cinnamon syrup, pineapple juice, cranberry-apple juice, and ginger ale together in a punch bowl; stir well.
