Vegan Split Pea Soup Ii - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    1 carrot, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 teaspoon curry powder
    1 cup yellow split peas
    4 cups water
    1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Cook and stir carrot, onion, celery and curry for about 5 minutes. Add the water, peas and salt. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 45 to 50 minutes, or until very thick.
