Cambodian Ginger Sauce (Tirk Khngay) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup hot water
    1/4 cup white sugar
    1/4 cup fish sauce
    1/4 cup lime juice
    1/3 cup minced fresh ginger root
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3 hot chile peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Mix hot water, sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, ginger, garlic, and chile peppers in a bowl.
