The Monahan Cocktail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups ice
    2 fluid ounces rye whiskey
    1 fluid ounce sweet vermouth
    1/8 tablespoon Amer Picon
    1 Maraschino cherry, for garnish
Preparation
    Put ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour in whiskey, sweet vermouth, and Amer Picon. Shake or stir, and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry (or a twist of lemon).
