Easy Vegetarian Sandwich - cooking recipe

1 tablespoon almond butter, or to taste
2 slices whole-grain bread
1/2 Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Spread almond butter onto 1 side of each bread slice. Arrange apples neatly over almond butter on 1 slice of bread; top with carrots and Cheddar cheese. Place second piece of bread on top to make a sandwich.
