Mother'S Pecan Pancake Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups self-rising flour
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup chopped pecans, or to taste (optional)
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
    Combine flour, white sugar, pecans, brown sugar, egg, and oil in a bowl. Mix batter thoroughly. Fill each cup of a muffin tin 2/3-full with batter.
    Bake in the preheated oven until tops spring back when lightly pressed, 8 to 12 minutes.
