Japanese Minced Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 pound ground beef
    2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
    3 tablespoons soy sauce
    3 tablespoons sake (Japanese rice wine)
    2 tablespoons mirin (Japanese sweet wine)
    1 tablespoon white sugar, or more to taste
Preparation
    Heat a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir beef until cooked through, 5 to 7 minutes. Add ginger and stir well. Stir soy sauce, sake, mirin, and sugar into beef mixture; bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute more.
