Breakfast Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 apple, cored and chopped
    1/2 cup crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex(R)), crushed
    2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    2 teaspoons coconut oil
    1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries (optional)
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Place the apple, rice cereal, cinnamon, and coconut oil into a microwave-safe bowl.
    Cook in a microwave oven until the coconut oil has melted, 30 to 45 seconds. Stir to combine.
    Serve topped with berries and walnuts, if desired.
