Jeff'S Turkey Brine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 quart vegetable broth
    1 quart water
    1/2 cup salt
    1/2 cup ground black pepper
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup garlic powder
    1/2 cup dried thyme
    1/2 cup dried rosemary
    10 pounds ice cubes, or as needed
Preparation
    Stir vegetable broth, water, salt, pepper, sugar, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary together in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring regularly, until the salt and sugar are dissolved, about 5 minutes. Cool completely.
    Mix brine and ice together in a large container.
