Karkadeh (Egyptian Hibiscus Iced Tea) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup dried hibiscus petals
    1 1/2 quarts boiling water
    2 tablespoons white sugar, or more to taste
Preparation
    Place the hibiscus flowers in a pot and cover with boiling water. Sweeten to taste and allow to cool. Strain and pour into a pitcher. Refrigerate until well chilled.
