Easy Lime Cilantro Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    2 tablespoons lime juice
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon dried parsley
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/4 teaspoon chili powder
    2 cups water
    1 cup basmati rice
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 (11 ounce) can Mexican-style corn (such as Green Giant(R) Mexicorn(R)) (optional)
Preparation
    Combine cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, onion powder, parsley, garlic powder, ground cumin, and chili powder in a bowl.
    Bring water to a boil over high heat. Stir in rice and salt. Reduce heat and cover; simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in cilantro mixture and Mexican-style corn; simmer over low heat, covered, until corn is heated through, about 5 minutes.
