Grandma'S Coconut Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    2 cups white sugar
    3/4 cup buttermilk
    1/2 cup melted butter
    1 (10 ounce) package flaked coconut
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.)
    In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until smooth. Blend in buttermilk and melted butter. Stir in the coconut and vanilla. Pour filling into 2 - 9 inch pie shells.
    Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown.
