Balela (Chickpea And Black Bean Salad) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained
    1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
    2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
    3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
    1 lemon, juiced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 pinch salt and fresh coarsely ground black pepper to taste (optional)
Preparation
    Combine garbanzo beans, black beans, tomatoes, onion, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Allow to sit for flavors to blend, 15 to 30 minutes.
