Green Apple And Macadamia Quinoa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups water
    1 cup quinoa
    1/2 cup macadamia nuts
    1 cup diced green apple
    3/4 cup seeded and diced cucumber
    1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
    1/4 cup diced celery
    lemon, juiced
    1 green onion, thinly sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon agave nectar, or to taste
    3/4 teaspoon flaked salt
Preparation
    Bring water and quinoa to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until quinoa is tender and water has been absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.
    Heat a small skillet over medium heat; add macadamia nuts and cook, stirring often, until toasted, 3 to 4 minutes.
    Combine quinoa, macadamia nuts, apple, cucumber, green bell pepper, celery, lemon juice, green onion, garlic, agave nectar, and salt in a bowl.
