Quick And Easy Pointed Cabbage - cooking recipe

1 tablespoon butter, or more to taste
1 shallot, chopped
1 whole pointed cabbage, cut in fine strips
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, or more to taste
Preparation

Melt butter in a pot and saute shallot until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add pointed cabbage, stir, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour in vegetable broth and season with brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
Cover pot and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Season with balsamic vinegar.
