Lick-The-Bowl-Clean Chocolate Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 pound) package confectioners' sugar, divided
    1 cup shortening
    1/2 cup cold water, or more as needed
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 tablespoon Irish cream liqueur (such as Bailey's Irish Cream(R))
    1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
    1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Beat 1/2 of the confectioner's sugar, shortening, cold water, cocoa powder, Irish cream liqueur, vanilla extract, and salt together in a bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 8 minutes. Beat in the remaining confectioner's sugar. If necessary, add cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to reach desired consistency.
